Broaden your Horizon - book report: 10% of the grade

Students will read one book from the reading list and write a 300-word book report reflecting your thoughts on the topic. It should not be a mere summary, but rather a critical analysis of the issue or issues addressed in the book. Students may present their own argument, citing this book or other resources. Make sure to relate the argument or analysis to libraries, technology, and social media.

Instead of writing a book report, students are encouraged to explore other forms of book report, such as video, screencast, etc.

           ************

The sign-up is due on 9/7 8:00am.

The book report is due on your blog by 10/26 8:00 am. Please give me a direct tweet and let me know the link of this blog entry.

Please sign in your name after the book title. The maximum number of readers for each title is 2. If you see two names already added after a title, please find another book to read. This is not a group project. You have to write your own critique even if two of you have signed up for the same book. Here is the reading list in Google Doc.
